Privacy Policy

Important. This Policy describes the processing of off-chain data in connection with the DONIFY interface. It does not alter the public nature of blockchain data.

1. General Provisions

This Privacy Policy explains what data may be processed when you use the DONIFY interface.

DONIFY is a decentralized protocol. This Policy applies to off-chain data that may be processed in connection with the operation of the DONIFY interface.

2. Who Is Responsible for Data Processing

For the purposes of processing off-chain data, the responsible party is the DONIFY community that supports the operation of the interface.

For data-related questions or requests, you may contact: privacy@donifyapp.com.

The DONIFY community makes reasonable efforts to respond to user requests; however, due to the community-driven nature of the project, an immediate response is not guaranteed. A response will be provided within a reasonable time, and where practicable no later than 30 days from receipt of the request.

3. What Data May Be Processed

When you use the DONIFY interface, the following categories of off-chain data may be processed:

  • Telegram ID and other technical identifiers required for the interface to function, where you use the Telegram bot or Telegram-based interface;
  • public crypto wallet address;
  • IP address;
  • device type, browser type, and basic connection parameters;
  • interface interaction data, including access time and core technical usage events.

DONIFY does not collect identity documents and does not store users' private keys or seed phrases.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of off-chain data is based on your consent, expressed through your use of the DONIFY interface.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending a request to privacy@donify.org.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before such withdrawal.

5. Purposes of Data Use

Data may be used solely for the following purposes:

  • operating the DONIFY interface;
  • preventing abuse, technical violations, and unauthorized access attempts;
  • maintaining baseline security and service stability;
  • support and technical diagnostics;
  • anonymized analytics for interface improvement, where applicable and based on your consent.

6. On-Chain and Off-Chain Data

Transaction history may be reviewed based on public blockchain data.

Such on-chain data does not constitute a centralized DONIFY database of personal data and may remain publicly accessible by its nature, regardless of your use of the interface.

DONIFY does not control the blockchain and cannot erase public data already recorded on a distributed ledger.

7. Transfers to Technical Service Providers

Data may be transferred to technical service providers required for the functioning of the interface, including hosting providers, RPC nodes, security services, and other infrastructure providers.

Such transfers take place solely for the operation of DONIFY and not for marketing purposes without your consent.

DONIFY does not sell or share personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Such providers may be located in different countries, including outside the user's country.

8. Data Retention Period

Off-chain data is retained for no longer than 12 months after your last activity, unless a longer retention period is required for security, abuse prevention, or compliance with applicable law.

After that period, the data is subject to deletion or anonymization within a reasonable timeframe, to the extent technically feasible.

9. User Rights

To the extent provided by applicable law, you have the right to:

  • request access to your off-chain data;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of data where technically feasible;
  • withdraw consent for the processing of off-chain data.

To exercise these rights, please send a request to privacy@donify.org. The DONIFY community makes reasonable efforts to respond within 30 days.

10. Security Measures

DONIFY applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including data minimization, restricted access, and protection of data transmission to the extent practically feasible for a community-driven project.

At the same time, you remain responsible for the security of your own device, browser, Telegram account, and crypto wallet.

11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

If the web version of the DONIFY interface uses cookies, localStorage, or similar technologies, they are used solely for interface functionality, session state preservation, stability enhancement, and baseline analytics.

The use of such technologies does not imply the transfer of data for marketing purposes without the user's consent.

12. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated from time to time.

Notice of changes may be published through the official DONIFY website, including the FAQ section, and/or through the official DONIFY Telegram channel.

Your continued use of DONIFY after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

13. Acceptance of This Policy

By using DONIFY, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with this Policy, you must not use DONIFY.
