DONIFY — Terms of Use
Important. This document governs the use of the DONIFY interface and related materials. It is designed for a community-driven Web3 project and reflects the non-custodial nature of the service.
1. Introduction
Welcome to DONIFY, a decentralized protocol for voluntary support of projects, available at the time of use through Telegram, the web interface, and blockchain infrastructure.
By accessing or using DONIFY, you confirm that you have read these Terms of Use and agree to be bound by them in full.
If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must not use DONIFY.
2. Project and Interface Status
DONIFY is an open-source protocol maintained by a community of contributors and developers.
The DONIFY interface is made available by the DONIFY community on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
No single person or entity exercises complete control over the protocol or the interface.
For questions related to the use of the interface, you may contact: support@donify.org.
3. Nature of the Service
DONIFY is a non-custodial interface for interacting with smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure.
DONIFY is intended for voluntary support of projects and does not act as a custodian of user funds.
DONIFY is not:
- an investment platform;
- a financial intermediary or financial advisor;
- a bank, payment institution, or issuer of electronic money;
- a broker, exchange, or asset management service.
4. No Investment or Financial Character
Nothing within DONIFY constitutes an offer of securities, an investment offering, investment advice, fiduciary management, asset management, or any other regulated financial activity.
DONIFY does not guarantee:
- income, profits, or financial benefit;
- an increase in the value of any asset;
- a refund of funds;
- the achievement of any economic result.
Any participation in DONIFY is voluntary and undertaken solely at your own initiative and risk.
5. Donations and Blockchain Transactions
All transfers made through DONIFY are treated as voluntary donations or other voluntary user actions carried out under the protocol logic.
Transactions are executed directly on the blockchain.
DONIFY does not hold user funds, does not control user wallets, and does not have access to private keys.
Unless the logic of a specific smart contract expressly provides otherwise, confirmed blockchain transactions are final and irreversible.
6. Age, Legal Capacity, and No KYC
By using the DONIFY interface, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have reached any other age required to validly accept these Terms under the laws of your jurisdiction.
Age confirmation is made through your acceptance of these Terms when using the DONIFY interface.
DONIFY does not conduct identity verification or age verification (KYC) and relies on the accuracy of your confirmation.
You bear full responsibility for the accuracy of your age-related confirmation. If this requirement is found to have been violated, access to the interface may be restricted or terminated.
7. Sanctions, Restrictions, and Jurisdictions
By using DONIFY, you confirm that you are not subject to sanctions or restrictions imposed by the European Union, the United Nations, the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), or any other applicable sanctions regime.
DONIFY may restrict access to the interface for users, addresses, territories, or jurisdictions that fall within such restrictions.
Additional information regarding interface availability and applicable restrictions may be published on the official DONIFY website, including the FAQ section, and/or through the official DONIFY Telegram channel.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of DONIFY does not violate the laws or regulations applicable in your country or territory.
8. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- the security of your device, Telegram account, browser, and crypto wallet;
- the safekeeping of your private keys, seed phrases, and other credentials;
- verifying addresses, amounts, and all other transaction details before confirmation;
- complying with the laws of your jurisdiction;
- independently evaluating projects presented through DONIFY.
9. Risks
You acknowledge and accept the risks associated with Web3 services and DONIFY, including, without limitation:
- loss of access to your wallet or accounts;
- user errors when sending transactions;
- smart contract vulnerabilities or bugs;
- failures of blockchain networks, RPC providers, hosting, browsers, or third-party infrastructure;
- volatility of crypto assets;
- changes in regulation, restrictions, or sanctions regimes;
- force majeure events and circumstances beyond the control of the DONIFY community.
You use DONIFY entirely at your own risk.
10. Third-Party Projects and Interface Moderation
Projects, campaigns, and other materials made available through DONIFY may be created by third parties or users.
The DONIFY community does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, good faith, or success of such projects and is not required to conduct full verification.
DONIFY reserves the right, at its discretion, to moderate the interface and to hide, restrict, flag, or remove individual projects or materials where there are signs of a breach of these Terms, abuse, sanctions-related restrictions, fraud, or other risks.
11. Prohibited Conduct
When using DONIFY, you must not:
- use the interface for fraud, deception, or misleading conduct;
- post or promote projects involving financial pyramids, investment schemes, or unlawful fundraising;
- disrupt the interface, attempt to bypass restrictions, launch attacks, engage in harmful automation, or otherwise act in a way that may harm the service or its users;
- use DONIFY in violation of applicable sanctions, export controls, or the laws of your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to the Terms and Notice Procedure
These Terms may be amended or updated from time to time.
As a general rule, notice of material changes will be provided at least 7 days before such changes take effect through the official DONIFY website, including the FAQ section, and/or the official DONIFY Telegram channel, unless a shorter period is required for security, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.
Your continued use of DONIFY after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
DONIFY is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no contributor, developer, or person assisting with the functioning of the DONIFY interface shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or other damages arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the interface.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability to the extent such exclusion is expressly prohibited by mandatory applicable law.
14. Applicable Law and Disputes
In the absence of a separate legal entity or formal operator, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of DONIFY is lawful under the rules applicable in your jurisdiction.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any issues related to the use of the DONIFY interface shall be addressed in accordance with applicable legal rules and the procedures of the competent authorities or bodies having jurisdiction over the relevant matter.
If the DONIFY community adopts a more specific dispute-resolution framework, additional restrictions, or clarifications, such information may be published on the official DONIFY website, including the FAQ section, and/or through the official DONIFY Telegram channel.
15. Acceptance of the Terms
By using DONIFY, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use DONIFY.
